The £9.99 High Coverage Foundation – L’Oreal Infallible 24Hour Foundation

To get that high coverage, flawless, imperfection free complexion on a tight budget is hard, very hard and to find a foundation that ticks all the boxes for under 10 or even 20 pounds is certainly a challenge.  BUT when something comes along that is only £9.99, yep just less than £10, and claims to be high coverage, well it’s bound to get my attention.

The L’Oreal Infallible 24Hour Foundation is a foundation that has only recently made its way into my collection and so far, I’m loving it.  I’m currently using the shade Porcelain and it is just perfect for my skin tone at the minute.  First off, I have never worn a foundation for 24 hours so I can’t say I’ve tested this foundation to its fullest potential. Of the 8 shades within the collection, Porcelain is the fairest and I think this foundation is definitely aimed at fairer skin tones.

The foundation applies beautifully, with either a make up sponge or brush.  And I will definitely be purchasing a darker shade when summer comes around.  After a few hours the foundation does start to go a little patchy around my nose, but I have found that happens with most foundations I use.  If like me, your skin can get a little oily throughout the day then I’d recommend using a mattifying primer beforehand, it certainly helps with the longevity of the foundation.  Overall for £9.99 there really isn’t much I can bring myself to complain about and I can certainly see it becoming a new favourite foundation of mine.
