Urban Decay Nirvana Build Your Own Eyeshadow Palette

Out of every make up product I own, I think it definitely has to be the eyeshadow palettes that are my favourite items to both buy and use.  I love each one in different ways and yet somehow always seem to find room in my heart (and drawer) for another.  My Mum has often asked why one girl would need so many palettes and different eyeshadows, and I often reply that make up is my addiction and I need them.  BUT when one of your best friends buys you another to add to your collection, I could hardly refuse her now could I?!

For Christmas I was lucky enough to receive the Urban Decay Nirvana Build Your Own Eyeshadow Palette and it looks beautiful to say the least!  The palette is designed to fit in four of your favourite Urban Decay eyeshadows in, which makes it perfect for travelling or housing the eyeshadows you tend to use most often.  My fabulous best friend also gave me one of the most gorgeous shades I have ever seen – an Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in the shade Moonspoon which is a stunning silver glitter shadow.  This eyeshadow makes my eyelids sparkle and I find it applies a lot easier with my fingertip rather than using a brush.  And if you want even more pigment, using a slightly wet fingertip applies ever more sparkle and colour to your eyelid.  Also in the palette, I added in an eyeshadow from Urban Decay that I already owned but kept separate in it’s own little container (link) in the shade Backfire.  This eyeshadow is a stunning iridescent purple and is a shade I haven’t yet braved wearing.  Urban Decay eyeshadow is very blend-able, buttery and highly pigmented.  I can’t wait to invest in more to add to my collection and make a perfect travel palette that I can take with me anywhere.
