There’s something incredibly therapeutic about winding down after a long day at work, university or school. Whether it be removing make up, soaking in a hot bath or simply sticking on one of your favourite films, I have always loved wiping the day away and starting afresh.
First things first, time to remove my make up. I’m currently using the Elemental Herbology Vital Cleanse Cleanser, pumping some into my hand and massaging it over my face to break down my make up. Then using a damp cotton flannel, I wipe away the majority of my make up and then using the Boots Botanics Micellar Water on a cotton pad I gently remove any stubborn mascara or eyeliner.
Once all of my make up has been removed, I switch between using the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash, but today I used the The Body Shop Aloe Exfoliator to further cleanse my skin and (hopefully) remove some, if not the majority of the impurities on my skin.
Then I’ll hop into the shower to wash my hair, I’m currently using the Tresemme Expert Botanique Nourish and Replenish Shampoo and Conditioner. After getting out the shower I brush my teeth (in an attempt to stop myself from having any more snacks) and I get into my most unattractive but insanely comfortable pyjamas.
I quickly towel dry my hair before brushing my hair using the Tangle Teezer Compact Styler and then move on to dry my hair using the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Spray with the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Hair Dryer.
I have been trying out the LUSH Eau Roma Water Toner Spray, a light lavender and rose water, that is meant to reduce redness and calm the skin. I’m also currently trying out the Nivea Daily Essentials Rich Regenerating Night Cream and then applying one of my favourite lip balms, The Body Shop Honeymania Lip Balm.
Finally time to get into bed and get some well needed sleep in preparation for yet another busy day. I hope you enjoyed coming with me on my mini evening pamper routine. Let me know of anything you include in your evening routine, I’d love to know!
