It has been absolutely ages since I last wrote a post on the products that I had used up (May to be precise – previous post) and I’m pretty sure that I’ve thrown out a fair few products since then. However, I shall try to make it my mission from now on, to remember to save my empty bottles and tubes. But for now I shall share with you some of the products that I used up during September and the beginning of October.
Let’s start with make up… I sadly used up my Urban Decay Brow Beater Pencil in the shade Warm Brown. I absolutely loved using this eyebrow pencil and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase it as soon as I hit the Urban Decay counter in my local Debenhams store. The little brush on the end distributed the product evenly and the little nib made making tiny brow strokes effortless. Another product I used up is also from Urban Decay and is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation in the shade 1.0, which has been a favourite of mine for a long time. I would repurchase this foundation again too, but I think I need to give the new Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation a go first! I discovered that my Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner had all dried up, which is a good thing as I had already purchased the Skinny Eyeliner as a replacement. Finally for make up, I used up my beloved Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm, the hydrate formula, which to be perfectly honest had been in my handbag a fair while and it is time to treat myself to a new one I think.
For skincare, I had used up another big bottle of the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water which easily removes even waterproof mascara. It had become such a key part of my skincare routine and I think I should take the plunge and try something new. My No7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Cleanser had also come to an abrupt end and now I find myself lost looking for a replacement. I’m rather tempted to purchase the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm after reading the numerous positive reviews from various beauty bloggers, but we’ll see!
I must have accidentally thrown away my shampoo, conditioner and shower gel that I used up a few weeks ago as these were the only two products left in my little bag of empties. As summer has come to an end, so did another St Tropez in Shower Tanning Lotion (similar). I shall probably be repurchasing some sort of tanning lotion as I don’t want to part with what little tan I gained over summer just yet! I bought this product purely because it is super easy to use, you just apply it in the shower, wait a couple of minutes and wash it off! Finally, I used up a big tub of The Body Shop‘s Raspberry Body Butter (which I don’t think they sell anymore – ugh!). I love their body butters, they sink into the skin quickly and all smell good enough to eat. However, I don’t think I need to buy any more body butters as I have a collection that would rival my local store… I promise you it’s completely normal!
