REVIEW: L’Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Shampoo and Conditioner

As I’m soon to be running out of these products I thought I would share with you my review of the L’Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Shampoo and the accompanying L’Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Conditioner.  These products are targeted to restore weak, limp and damaged hair, aiming to improve the strength of your hair, the density and vitality, as well as shine and silkiness.  I bought these products with the ultimate aim of repairing my damaged hair as mentioned in my March Favourites.

My hair is quite long and thick, and so I have struggled to find shampoos and conditioners that would keep my hair feeling soft without all the frizz.  My hair also gets greasy very quickly which is very annoying but nothing some dry shampoo can’t handle.  This shampoo and conditioner duo have definitely improved the quality of my hair and I have noticed a big difference between when I started using this product and now, a month or so down the line.  I bought these products when they were on offer for just £2 each but they are currently on a 3 for 2 offer at Boots if you’re interested!

I would repurchase this shampoo and conditioner duo again as it really has made a difference to the quality and appearance of my hair.  The product inside has lasted me a long time and has many more uses left.  I would recommend these products to anyone who has thick hair and suffers with frizz like I do, it has helped to reduce frizz and to repair my hair from an excessive use of hair dryer, straighteners and curling wand.  L’Oreal recommend using it with the L’Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Mask which I haven’t yet tried, purely on the basis that my hair is greasy enough already without adding too many products to the mix.

Love, Em x
