Evening Skincare Routine

I have always been conscious about my skin and have tried to keep it healthy and spot free (although I have not been very successful with the latter).  My skincare routine is something I alternate quite regularly as I am always keen to try and find new products that will hopefully work wonders for my sensitive skin.  I would say that my skin type is definitely combination, it can vary from being really oily one day to dry the next and I also suffer with dark under-eye circles (probably from a lack of sleep) along with some redness on my cheeks and stress spots on my chin.  I rather enjoy my evening skincare routine, it is a chance for me to remove my make up and wipe the slate clean ready for another day.
To firstly remove the majority of my make up or just to cleanse the skin I use the No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Cleanser and gently massage it over my skin before wiping it away with a damp cotton flannel.  Although this usually removes all of my make up, I will use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water with Boots Oval Cotton Pads to remove any stubborn waterproof mascara or any excess make up left on the skin.  I then use the Eyelure Brow Nourishing Oil just to maintain the condition of my brows and help with growth in some patchy areas.  I have recently been using the Balance Me Radiance Face Oil which has definitely improved my skin, it has added moisture back into my skin and a radiance that I have noticed over the past few weeks.  After never using an oil on my face before and I am definitely converted!  I initially feared that it would break me out and make my skin far too oily, but it sinks into my skin quickly and being 100% natural has really helped with my sensitive skin!  To moisturise my lips I use the Shea Lip Butter from The Body Shop which is an old favourite of mine, it has lasted ages despite being used on a daily basis.  To finally moisturise my skin I am currently trying out the Elemental Herbology Vital Glow Overnight Resurfacing Cream which has worked well with the face oil and I thoroughly enjoy waking up to smooth, radiant skin.
Using all of these products may seem completely excessive to some and I openly admit to using make up wipes when I am on the go.  I favour the No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes, which I usually buy when they are on offer!  They are gentle on my sensitive skin and remove even the stubbornest of make up!
I’ll be back with a new post on Friday…something yummy!
Love, Em x
