Although I don’t wear make up everyday, I would classify this as my go to make up routine for a natural and quick look. These are some of the products that I will inevitably repurchase when they run out.
To firstly prime and hydrate my skin I use the Simple Kind to Skin Illuminating Radiance Cream, I use clean hands to apply this. I then use the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation in the shade 51 Light Vanilla with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush which makes the application effortless. To conceal my dark under-eye circles and any redness I use the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in the shade Light Warm applied with a fluffy eye shadow brush from a set on e-bay. To set my base I apply the Bourjois Healthy Balance Compact Powder in 52 Vanilla with the Real Techniques Bold Metals 103 Arched Powder Brush (from a limited edition set). To add some colour and dimension back into my complexion I use the Urban Decay Flushed Palette in Streak. If I’m in a hurry I’ll use one brush for all three powders but if I not I’ll go all out and use three… excessive I know! For the bronzer I use the Real Techniques Multi-Tasking Brush and apply it lightly to the hollows of my cheek bones, jawline and temples, for the blush I use the Real Techniques Bold Metals 300 Tapered Blush Brush onto the apples of my cheeks and to highlight I use the Real Techniques Contour Brush applied to the high points of my cheek bones.
I love my winged liner and at the minute I’m using the Soap & Glory SuperCat Liner, I usually opt for a small wing and I try to get them as even as I possibly can which is sometimes easier said than done! After curling my eyelashes I use Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara and then I use the Natural Collection WaterGuard Mascara on my lower lashes, it’s only £1.99 and stays put all day! To fill in my brows I use the The Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit in the shade 03 Brown & Black and the Maybelline Master Brow Pencil in the shade Soft Brown.
I’ll be back soon with another post,
Love, Em x
